My professional methodology for a standard translation project is

My approach to translation begins with listening — to the text, its tone, and the world it speaks from.
Before translating, I take time to understand the source material’s context, rhythm, and intended audience. I pay attention not only to terminology, but to the emotional and cultural layers beneath the words. This is especially important when working with academic writing, ethnographic accounts, or narratives shaped by lived experience.
I translate with clarity and care, aiming to preserve meaning while letting the target language breathe. I revise the text multiple times — once for structure, once for flow, and again for voice. I value collaboration, and I’m always open to feedback and dialogue.
Translation, to me, is not just about accuracy. It’s about carrying meaning across difference with respect, intention, and attentiveness.
