This is how I solved a recent communication challenge with a client

When faced with communication hurdles, I actively listen to my clients. I seek to understand their concerns, preferences, and expectations. At the outset of any project or engagement, I establish clear communication expectations. This includes defining preferred channels (email, phone, meetings), response times, etc.

This is how I manage terminology consistency in my area of expertise

During the review process, I pay special attention to terminology. I use search functions within my CAT tool to spot inconsistencies. I flag any deviations and resolve them collaboratively. Some clients have unique terms or brand-specific vocabulary. I Customize my termbase (TB) to accommodate these client-specific entries.

Terminology management is dynamic. I regularly assess and refine my processes. I learn from each project. If a term caused confusion, I investigate why and adjust accordingly.
