About Me

I am an Arabic translator who can use language skills to translate texts from one language into another, retaining the meaning of the original text as closely as possible. I have a good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language and culture, known as localization. I am attentive to details and proficient in using a range of CAT tools such as SDL Trados, memoQ, XTM, Memosource, POEDIT, Translation Workspace, and Passolo. In addition, I can use many quality assurance tools, such Xbench.

This is how I solved a recent terminology, style, or linguistic challenge

I scan every document and highlight the key terms and send a terminology list to my client seeking for their approval or amendments, if needed, before creating my termbase. With my first assignment from a new client, I create a mini style guide and share it with them to be on the same page regarding some linguistic preferences such as tanween, etc.
