This is how I solved a recent terminology, style, or linguistic challenge
How much is mucho? In the context of reporting debate between left and right-wing factions in Spain, the original text stated that “muchos inmigrantes son musulmanes.” A look at the population census indicated that 15% of immigrants to Spain are from predominantly Muslim countries, and so the use of “many” in english would imply that the author was sympathetic to the right-wing perspective, as opposed to simply reporting it. Including the census data in the article, after consulting with the author, made the phrase more precise and preempted a problem with the reviewers.
I really really like academic writing that is engaging and compelling, even when dealing with technical issues. If I have to study geometry to make that happen (and it has happened), it’s part of the pleasure.

Excelente trato.
