I hold a degree in law and worked for one of Wales’ largest law firms, where I specialized in property law and gained experience in various areas of legal practice. The financial crisis put paid to my legal career, and in 2010 I moved to Brazil.

I was able to learn Portuguese quickly. In 2012, I was offered a job at a Brazilian company which planned to open an office in London. I went freelance after the successful opening. Combining my legal background and knowledge of Portuguese, I have built a successful translation career over the last decade. During that time, I have worked with clients from all over the world, including private individuals, law firms, companies ranging from startups to huge multinationals, charities, regulators and other governmental and international organizations.
