Some experience with Engineering and Environment documents due to the graduation but working with translation in general. My professional methodology for a standard translation project is

I first start reading the document to have an idea of what I’m going to deal with. Then, I start translating. When translating, I compare some words and verify if I’m using the right terms. After that, I start proofreading with quality control. Finally, I do the final reading and prepare the document to be delivered.
