About Me

Background in Life Sciences

I have an M.A. in Translation Studies but I also studied biology for several years at university level. I have been working as a translator and editor specializing in medicine, life sciences and environment for 10 years.

Content I translate

Documents for clinical studies

I have translated study protocols, ICFs, study participant diaries/guides and treatment guidelines for physicians for some of the leading pharmaceutical companies.

Instructions for Use (IFUs)

Based on my experience as an in-house translator in the technical field I provide translations of IFUs for medical devices.

Marketing and Web content

I translate content starting from marketing brochures up to websites in the environment field, for green companies (e.g. working in renewable energies) and health-care providers.

Apps and software

I translated help content and user interfaces for leading IT-companies for several years and provide app and software localization in the medical and environmental field.

Translations for Germany, Austria and Switzerland

I grew up in Austria, have been living in Switzerland for more then 12 years and extensively follow the news on various channels and media based in Germany, so I provide translations for the German, Austrian and Swiss variants of German.
