About Me

I have lived in London for six years (1997-2003) and I have started translating when I moved back to Italy, at first for a magazine about the fish industry (from Italian to English), then I worked for agencies translating for major retail companies (English to Italian), using software online provided by the outsourcers and Trados, which I haven’t renewed because of lack of assignments. I went back to university and graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature in 2017. I have experience in translation and MTPE (I’m also translating from Spanish to Italian in this field) and in recent years I have mainly worked in subtitling, which I really like.

This is what motivates me to do my best work

A good communication with the client, having all the informations and the necessary tools (e.g. specific glossaries) to do my job as best as I can, clients valuing the human side of this job more than the software or AI side.
