My name is Sarah, I’m a native English speaker and polyglot fluent in 5 other languages - Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese.

Growing up I’ve always been passionate about language learning and linguistics, as I believe that it is the best way to connect with people from other cultures, and learn more about the world. Visiting other countries has also contributed to my perspective on interpersonal communication, and is even more so part of the reason why I find translation to be such meaningful work.

My translation experience lies mainly in Spanish to English and French to English translation, having attained C2 and C1 levels of proficiency in Spanish and French respectively. I have worked on a variety of texts that were literary, academic and commercial in nature, and hold strongly to the belief that my best work is a translation that resonates most deeply with my clients, and brings across the message that they intended to convey, in the exact way that they meant to say it.

I also offer editing and proofreading services in English, to ensure that the document is clear and readable, while retaining all essential points from start to finish.
