About Me

My name is Sara Amoruso, I am italian, I am 34 years old and I translate from Spanish and English into Italian. I have always had the passion for learning foreign languages and the curiosity toward translation. For this reason, in 2019 I decided to enrol University to study “Linguistic Mediation” at: “Università degli studi dell’Insubria”. In June 2022 I passed the exam to obtain FILIS (Formatori Interculturali di Lingua Italiana) Certificate for teaching Italian language and culture.

During my teaching program I understood the importance of having the appropriate skills. In particular the “Translation theory and techniques” course helped me understand that the important thing is the substance, not the appearance.

Frankness, and loyalty are part of my character especially in professional environment. Thanks to my constant desire to learn, learning new things allows me to improve myself day by day and I think this is essential in order to provide a high quality level in my job.
