Background

I was born in Sweden but spent a considerable chunk of my childhood living in Norway. During this time, I went to school, got a job, and became integrated into Norwegian society, before moving back to Sweden.
In Sweden, I started working in IT, which meant having coworkers from all over the world. This meant speaking and writing English a large part of the time.

Specialties

Because of my extensive background in UX, thirteen years working as a UX Designer, I know most things there is to know about the subject. Because a UX designer is an integrated part of a development team, I have a lot of insight into many other roles in a production team, such as Scrum master, developer, illustrator and project manager.

On the personal side, I am a curious and adventurous person who likes to try new things and have had many hobbies over the years. I like working with my hands, meaning I have tried and sometimes do, whittling, sewing, embroidery, weaving, or painting. However, I have been doing crochet since I was five years old and crochet is what I always come back to. I know the ins and outs of the craft and make anything from clothes to household items.

I also live on a farm and work with animals and grow my own vegetables. I’ve been diving deep into the self-sufficiency movement and I have experience in things like canning and preserving food, planning, sowing and harvesting vegetables, fermenting, animal husbandry, and general problem solving when the need arises.
