Hi, I’m Rui and I work in translation industry since 2006.

I am a Portuguese full-time translator working from English, Spanish and French into European Portuguese, particularly in the fields of Marketing, IT, Technology, Tourism, and Business/Corporate Communication.

I am based in Porto, Portugal, but I try to visit my source language countries regularly in order to improve my knowledge in each language.

In the past I have worked for several companies as an in-house translator and also as a translation project manager, which allowed me to strengthen my management skills and gave me a thorough understanding of the corporate environment.

However, it is as a freelance translator that I feel more comfortable and fulfilled in the profession. In October 2013 I have created my personal brand - Mind Words - offering services in translation and proofreading, specialised training and linguistic consultancy.
