About Me

I’m a native English speaker (US) with a technical background. Since 2004, I’ve been working as an In-house technical and marketing translator in Austria.

In 2010 I decided to make the jump into freelancing; albeit part-time. Although I’m fluent in spoken and written German, I make it a point to translate into my native language only.

In doing so, I can give your text the style and tone that it needs, as well as the quality it deserves.

I am excited about these new developments with the translation technology I use

I’m continuously researching new tools and techniques to improve quality and efficiency, while acquiring new skills to expand my range of services.
Currently, I’m taking a certification course in subtitling using the Ooona toolkit. What surprised me most, is that subtitling feels more like fun than work. I’m looking forward to completing the course and diving right in!
