My professional methodology for a standard translation project is

trying my best to stick to the original content; if there are parts to localize (idiomatic phrases, metaphors, etc.) I try to find the best equivalent terms to render the ideal translation of those items in order to be understood very well in the target language.

This is how I continue my learning in my area of expertise

I read all kinds of books in English and Italian (from novels to self-help books) to be always updated on the various terminologies; I’m attending university at the faculty of Linguistic mediation and cultural communication
