I am a native Italian speaker, focused on translation and editing from English to Italian. My expertise is in the area of medical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics translations. I can also write content for your blog and your website in these areas.

My professional methodology for a standard translation project is

a. Asking for a brief
Firstly, I need some key information before reviewing your translation:

Language pair: I only translate from English into Italian, my mother tongue.
Deadline.
Audience: is your target general or specialized? The quality of the translation depends on it as well.
Glossary/Style guides: This would be my reference to keep consistency with your previous translations and texts.

b. Research & Terminology
I usually do some research to master the topic of your translation. I build the glossary to ensure consistency throughout the whole text.

c. Translation
I translate your text with the most precise words which will be conducive to the Italian market.

d. Revision & Proofreading
Finally, I revise and proofread your text to avoid any typos, mistranslation or inconsistencies. I verify that the original message is understandable in the final text.
