Hyphenation offers translations from English to Swedish, mainly in the areas of food & drink, tourism & travel, popular science, popular culture, photography, home electronics, transcreation and copy. Examples of documents are newsletters, websites, editorial content, presentations and marketing materials.

Multilingual desktop publishing

Hyphenation also offers multilingual desktop publishing, which includes preparation, export and import of texts for translation in CAT tools, the actual DTP of the translated document – including proofing and validation – and finally creation of PDF files for web or print. The software used are mainly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Robert Loorents is Hyphenation

Hyphenation was founded in 2005 by two friends who shared an experience in the translation industry. We aimed to supply multilingual desktop publishing to language service providers and translators. After ten years of working together they split up and Robert decided to focus all efforts on Hyphenation while Fredrik moved on to new adventures. During the years we have worked as suppliers to several major language service providers, consultants to translators and with direct customers.
