"Premium Translations for EdTech, eLearning and Marketing"
I’m particularly interested in the intersection between education and technology. This led me to specialise in EdTech, eLearning and L&D translation projects.
Brazilian Translator specialising in EdTech, eLearning and Marketing
I’m a translator working across English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese since 2019.
I hold two university degrees in Language Studies, with an emphasis in Portuguese and Spanish.
Other than translation, I offer subtitling, transcreation and bilingual or monolingual review services.
I’m from Brazil, but I currently live and work from South Africa. I have also lived in Argentina and travelled to different countries to improve my language skills and intercultural knowledge.
EdTech, eLearning and L&D translation projects
I’m particularly interested in educational projects, having extensive experience translating for EdTech and eLearning companies based in Europe.
Recent experience:
The translation of eLearning courses for global organisations and NGOs.
The localisation of a well-known LMS (Learning Management System) and eLearning authoring tool.
Video subtitling for L&D and online education projects.
Marketing, SEO Content, App & Website Localisation
I regularly translate marketing materials, such as guides, e-books and blog articles.
I have also collaborated on app and website localisation projects for clients expanding their reach to Brazil.
To improve my knowledge in this field, I often attend to online courses and webinars on localisation, transcreation and SEO translation.

This is how I solved a recent terminology, style, or linguistic challenge
One of my main clients in the EdTech space often uses specific terms to describe their products and solutions. However, a literal translation of these terms wouldn’t sound as good in the target language, which is Brazilian Portuguese.
To achieve better results, I provided my client with different transcreation options, explaining their meaning and impact for Brazilian Portuguese speaking users.
After deciding about the appropriate terminology, the terms and solutions I presented were added to my client’s glossary and shared with the translation team.
