About Me

I am an experienced translator, specializing in international development, education and journalistic translation.

I translate into my native English from French and Spanish and also provide revision and monolingual English editing services. I hold a bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish (First Class) and a master’s degree in Translation Studies (Distinction). I am also an Associate Member (AITI) of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.

I began translating in 2014, firstly for the Rosetta Foundation and subsequently for Translators without Borders (TWB), following their merger. In 2018 I passed TWB’s Qualification Test to become a Verified Translator and have translated over 189,000 words for their various non-profit partner organizations.

I have also successfully completed translations for UN Volunteers Online, Oxfam in Honduras, Amnesty France, and Peace Brigades International, among others. I now work with translation agencies to translate, revise, and edit texts for a range of United Nations agencies and NGOs.
