About Me

Hello, my name is Raúl Córdova.

I am a freelance English Spanish translator based in Mexico. I can help you translate your content from English to Spanish or vice versa.

Most of my work is technical and scientific texts; programming language documentation, programming tutorials, websites, apps, scientific papers, blog articles, manuals, etc., but I also do general translation, Machine Translation Post Editing (MTPE) and Localization (L10N).

My approach, when translating, is a combination of Machine Translation and manual translation. I think of machine translation as a tool that boosts productivity and enhances the final product because it allows me to choose portions of translations performed by the Translation Management System, and “craft” the most precise and coherent translation I can by combining manual and machine translation.
