I have been working full-time as a translator since 2001, mostly from English into Spanish, although I acquired an important experience translating into English in the years I worked in-house for Empresarios Agrupados (an engineering company located in Madrid, Spain). After deciding to go full freelance, I have translated over 100 books for different publishing houses (The Hunger Games and Divergent series among them) and won the Best Translator Award from the European Science Fiction Society (2020), while also expanding my experience in other non-literary fields, thanks to my collaboration with some translation agencies: texts for the media and the entertainment industry (ads and banners for Broadway and London musicals, leaflets for movie theme parks…), training material for different fields, customer satisfaction surveys, education and tourism, food and drink…
