About Me

Certified translation specialist in law and economics (particularly in finance) with extensive professional experience as a translator in English, French, and German. Over a decade of professional experience gained abroad, including in North Africa, the UK, and the USA. Passionate about foreign languages and cultures. I began specializing in translations in law and economics from the outset of my legal education. In addition to my specialized expertise, my professional background includes translating in medical and engineering fields, managing larger translation projects, creating and utilizing terminology databases and CAT tools, developing parallel corpora, and evaluating machine translation models. In my spare time, I am involved in a charity project for stray dogs and cats in Tunisia, a cause that is dear to my heart.

I am a specialist in the grammatical interpretation of technical terms. Despite the frequent ambiguity of legal terms, I find the equivalent in the target language. This is primarily due to my in-depth legal knowledge, but I also benefit from my many years of experience and the extensive terminology databases and translation memories that I have been able to build up over the years. During my translation studies, I specialized in evaluating machine translation models. This knowledge is essentional when using machine translation and CAT tools to ensure terminology consistency at all times.
