About Me

I am an English to Portuguese scientific and technical translator and editor based in Portugal, working particularly in the fields of Chemistry and Life Sciences.

I have a PhD in (Bio)Chemistry and 24 years of experience in scientific research, both as researcher and science manager. I also have a postgraduate degree in Translation.

I translate, write and review materials such as chemical information resources, general medical information, instructions for use, patents, scientific reports, and technical manuals, among others.

Now a full-time freelancer, I’m seeking new opportunities to help my clients reach their target audiences in Portuguese.
