About Me

I’m a Russian native speaker with 14 years of experience in English to Russian translation, proofreading, and editing. I hold a PhD in Linguistics and MA in Cross-Cultural Communication and Teaching English. I have a solid academic background as my PhD was dedicated to analysing Russian advertising discourse related to medicine.

I volunteer for Translators without Borders (TWB), the world’s leading nonprofit translation organization. I enjoy working as a volunteer to give something back to the community. I also take part in the local green initiatives.

I use collocation dictionaries, Russian National Language Corpus, and Google Ngram Viewer to ensure that my translations stay true to the source text yet sound natural in Russian.
