This is how I would describe my work style

I like to create content that is fluid and easy to read, to deliver the message in the most efficient way for the communication to happen.

When clients request literal translations, this is how I handle the situation

I send the literal translation and, if it sounds not ideal for a native reader, I suggest the localized version with my notes explaining the changes, so the client can decide it.
