About Me

I am a holder of masters in translation (MA Translation) from Nairobi University. I also have a degree in education (B.ED-Arts) from Maseno University. In addition to the above, I have a post-graduate diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kenyatta University.

I have worked as a Swahili and French teacher in secondary schools for more than ten years. I have also been translating, localizing and editing texts from different fields ranging from Legal, IT, Environment, Education, Marketing and many others, for more than ten years.

I have translated content for global companies including Google, Uber, Microsoft, Huawei, TikTok and many other, mainly from English into Swahili.

Currently, I am a full time translator at Victranz Limited, working in English, Swahili and French.

I am familiar with many CAT tools such as Trados, MemoQ, Memsource, Polyglot and more.
