About Me

Freelance translator with 18 years of experience.

I usually translate from English into Spanish, but I can also
translate between Spanish and Galician.

I worked on technical and marketing translation for years.
Still, I finally decided to specialize in life sciences related
documentation (product leaflets, summaries of product
characteristics, technical data sheets, labeling, marketing
authorization applications, clinical trial protocols, informed
consents, etc.) as stipulated by the European Medicines
Agency (EMA).

Although most of my time is focused on translation, I also
offer proofreading, transcription, subtitling, and post-editing
services.

This is how I continue my learning in my area of expertise

I believe that continuous training is fundamental in my work since it is not only science that is constantly evolving but also the legislation of the different countries. The laws often influence the terminology I have to use. For this reason, I try to keep myself up to date by taking courses on medicine, chemistry, and pharmacology and reading bulletins on legislative changes in this area, whether in Spain, Europe, or the United States.
