I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience of work with different types of Hydraulic Equipment. In addition, I took a 4-year professional development course called “Translation in the Field of Professional Communication”.
Writing is my passion. That’s what I do ever since I can remember. To find the proper words, vivid and appropriate; to write them down and supply readers with all the information they need. That is a real pleasure for a real author.
During my 8-year career in copywriting, I have created hundreds of texts for the most different audiences. There were articles about bikes, tourism, unmanned vehicles, agricultural mechanization, cooling and heating systems, etc. Moreover, there were dozens of commercial texts for the largest car distributors, including official dealers of Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, and Škoda.
A few years ago, I have switched my attention to translation. Since then, I provide my customers with clear and profound texts in the target language that affect their audience in the best way. My experience and my higher education (which was all about Heavy equipment and Lifting systems) help me a lot in that.
This is how I solved a recent terminology, style, or linguistic challenge
I recently had to deal with a paper on automatic bucket-filling for wheel loaders, which consisted of descriptions of hydraulic and control systems. The problem was terminology, because some of the terms were extremely rare and uncommon. My background in Mechanical Engineering was really helpful as I could understand work principles of that system and represent it in the way it could be represented in the target language.
