"No precast motto found. I stick to clean, concise and witty writing."
This is one of the few fields where a linguist who likes to write can play a little bit. Of course, he/she’s working (has anyone mentioned playing?), but the choice of words, the freedom of picking and choosing, and then arranging the right words can become irresistible.
I don’t pretend to be awesome. I only try to do my work honestly, to the best of my knowledge. Of course, on instances when the best of my knowledge seems insufficient, I extensively research multiple sources for the best translation outcome. A translator must never be self-sufficient, but always in the making, I have over 15 years of experience in translating on a daily basis operating and service manuals, brochures, leaflets, and technical specifications for a wide range of laboratory and medical apparatus, tools, and even complex systems, as well as material safety data sheets, (laboratory) test reports, product inserts and specifications for reagents, chemical compounds, drugs, biological sera and other documents required for participating in public tenders (ISO certificates, authorizations, declarations of conformity, contracts, various accounting documents, audit reports, etc.). Since July 2012 I’ve been working as a full-time freelance translator for translation agencies all over the European Union, mainly in automotive, agricultural, technical, medical, general business, and corporate communication fields.
Mihai is a talented translator and we have worked with him on many European projects and translations in different fields. He is quick, precise and on time, a professional to trust. I would recommend his service to anyone looking for a high quality translation.
