About Me

I have a Master Degree in Interior Design, with 3 of those 5 university years attending only courses in English language. I’ve spent the first 8 years of my careeer, and i still am, working with English, American, Swedish and French clients, talking with them everyday, making presentation and, moreover, translating all the necessary document received from the client for the other people working in the company, mainly from English and French language.

If i can add a little detail to that, i’ve gained the FCE certification, B2 level, when i was 17 years old.

Everyday talking and writing in English means i have fluency and practice with the English language, making me your perfect partner for quick, precise and accurate translations.

As a writer in my native language, this is how I would describe my style

I read the text and “dive” into it, understanding meaning and purpose.
Than i can search for the best words to translate it, paying attention not to lose any detail nor the intention and purpose of it.
You can be sure that nothing will get lost: reading the text until it’s “mine” means i can treat it like it was written by me.

When clients request literal translations, this is how I handle the situation

Is not hard to move from “latin” languages to Italian, but you always have to keep in mind that sometimes one word can have multiple meaning, depending on the context. My role is to make the client understand why, for a literal translation, i’ve chosen this and not that word, this and not that style.
