"Customer is a King!"
I am a painter in my free time. I sell my artwork by travelling to the various corners of my country where I meet with people of different ethnicity and culture. My work also reflects cultural artifacts and ways of living of different ethnicities. As a proud Ethiopian, a country that is a mosaic of different cultures, I can also truly say I understand, appreciate, live and breathe arts and culture in its fullest sense of the term.
I hold Bachelor degree in Management from Admas University, Addis Ababa. I worked in nonprofit sector for about seven years. During this time apart from my daily routines, I have written and edited proposals, plans, strategies and reports. I was involved in several proposal writing to different donors including USAID, Irish Aid, European Union, Threshold Finland of which most of them were funded.
I wrote a lot of quarterly, biannual and annual reports for different projects in different languages explain how we have accomplished our activities and met the set objectives. I was also involved the development of my former organizations strategic plan of 5 years where I took responsibilities for developing different sections.
On top of that I translated manuals for different organizations. I have also transcribed interviews conducted for research purposes. Given my education background and my track records over the years, I believe I am good in translating, editing, proofreading, transcribing different materials. One can see my passion I have for writing demonstrated in the various writings I produced. I am also a hard worker and punctual who is able to deliver under pressure and within the given deadline. You will be pleased by my work ethic and discipline.
This is how I solved a recent communication challenge with a client
Communicating a person with his own language and make that person comfortable and confident about any specific topic. We can use oral, written, sign language as a way of a good communication with anybody. With this regard as communication is a two way, no one is ashamed to communicate.
