I am a US Certified Medical Interpreter since 2013. I worked for Duke University Health System as a translator and interpreter (both over the phone and in person) in the US for four years. I saw patients from all over the world in a fast-paced environment. I also translated documents such as assessments, instructions or research consents into Spanish under tight deadlines. I continue to provide over-the-phone and video interpreting for clients on a regular basis.
I hold a Masters Degree in Translation and Interpreting, I have good knowledge of the Spanish, Galician, French and English languages (Spanish and Galician being my native languages), and excellent written and verbal communication skills in my working languages.
I am a Spain and US Certified Interpreter currently providing remote translation and interpreting services for different clients on a freelance basis. My clients range from healthcare professionals to customer services and schools in the US and in the UK.

Finally, I have recently taken a course in Marketing and Communication and I have started writing localized copy for different clients.
This is how I continue my learning in my area of expertise
I regularly take online courses approved by the International Medical Interpreters Association in order to obtain the required Continued Education Units to keep my certification and to keep up with the terminology and developments in the medical field. I have recently taken a 825 hours course in Marketing and Communication in order to offer high quality localized copy.
