I am thrilled to be applying for the opportunity to become a Translator at serious language companies. I believe that with my somewhat peculiar background and collection of skills, I can be of great use in this role. The nuances of language fascínate me, and to be able to have work that allows me to explore them and marinate in them each and every day would be a true pleasure and a privilege. I am passionate about translation, especially audio-visual translation and everything related to marketing. I am curious and love to learn as much as I can, either through courses, webinars or from other colleagues. I am an English><Spanish technical-scientific translator. Beyond this, I can also speak a little French. Indeed, I regularly read books in all these languages to maintain my fluency in them. I have 10 years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language, in primary and secondary schools, adult education, and private English institutes. I have been collaborating for a long time with non-profit associations such as Translators without borders, TED talks, and associations in my city. I use several! CAT Tools, such as Tracios, Memsource, MemoQ, and others specialized in audiovisual translation such as Subtitle Editor, Subtitle Workshop and Caption Hub. Foreign language skills are immensely useful in a complex, interconnected and global business world, and I would be honored to apply my abilities to help grease the wheels of the business relationships and assist in attaining yet greater success.
