This is how I solved a recent terminology, style, or linguistic challenge

Recently, the use of the word “team” was quite problematic for me…

…as the context in which the word was employed clashed directly with the word’s sports-themed meaning in my language, PT-BR.

I had to use its neutral variant “equipe” (still meaning “team)…

…as “time” would imply a football or otherwise sports-based division of players. It was a good exercise to remind me how otherwise automatic choices of words can sometimes become your biggest mistakes. It’s always good to be careful!
