Who am I

Hello there! My name is Luísa and I’m a Senior Localisation Specialist for the pair Brazilian Portuguese <> English. I have 10+ years of experience in the translation, adaptation and communications field.

My professional background

In the past, I have worked for large companies such as Booking.com (tourism & tech), BuzzFeed (entertainment) and Folha de São Paulo (journalism), where I translated and edited PR and MKT articles, online presentations, videos, UI and UX copies, and all sorts of communication materials for partners and clients.

I also have a large knowledge of localisation tooling and processes, being a certified user of the CAT tool Phrase (former Memsource). Besides, I’m a trained interpreter and I just finished a project management professional course.
