This is how I solved a recent recent technical challenge on a translation project

The challenge: a 210 K thousand-word project requested by one of clients. Three weeks to solve it. Only one translator available.

The strategy: doing a first review of the files. Then, extracting the translatable content out of the 6 databases that constituted the file. Later, making a first clean up process.

The resources: simple automations using AHK and Excel formulas, a customized MT engine with a built-in memory that was previously cleaned as well.

The results: a high-quality translation delivered, a happy client who could use this information to make information-based decisions, and a new tested strategy that delivers great results.

I designed and implemented that strategy.
