About Me

Native Croatian speaker with an MA on English and German language and literature (linguistics and translation) and just under 10 years of experience in the language industry providing services such as translation, transcreation, proofreading, postediting etc. in a variety of subject fields.

This is how I would describe my work style

Extremely detail-and-research oriented. There is no place for winging it or guesswork. There is a lot of looking up stuff in both primary and secondary literature, including YouTube videos showing how those pesky machine parts you have to translate work. Lot of creativity and keeping the target audience and the type of document in mind. Oh, and thorough QA procedures which must never be skipped. If I’m doing something, I’m doing it right – I want to be proud of my work.
