About Me

I am an Italian freelance translator and subtitler.

My language pairs are EN>IT and FR>IT.

I offer translation, subtitling (with and without template), transcription and Machine Translation Post-Editing services for the Media, Film, TV, Video Games and Marketing & Advertising industries since I mainly specialize in these fields.

I have been translating audiovisual and specialized material since shortly after my MA graduation. In particular, I have been involved in several translation and subtitling projects for different European and U.S. LSPs and translation agencies.

My main freelance tasks consist in translating subtitles for films and TV series, in-game texts and marketing-related material such as customer support emails, promotional brochures and newsletters.

Being tech-savvy, I am able to use the most popular CAT tools like memoQ and Trados and subtitling software such as Subtitle Edit, OOONA and Aegisub as well as many cloud platforms intended for subtitling.

My professional attitude aims to consider translation as an opportunity for reflection on the transfer of culture-bound items and idiosyncratic linguistic patterns into the target language, without levelling meaning nor trivializing the semantic scope of each term, ensuring a high-quality end product in terms of fluency and accuracy.
