Currently studying in the University of Buenos Aires, I’m trying to gather experience and put to the test the abilities I’ve acquired during my last three years in university.
When clients request literal translations, this is how I handle the situation
I try to inquire about etymology and how to make things work and feel cohesive. When I translate I always try to give the new text some personality, so when a client requests a literal translation it feels challenging and it’s complicated not to sound like a machine, but I try my best to avoid paraphrasing sentences.
