About Me

As a native French speaker, I hold an MA in Translation Studies from Dublin City University, as well as a BA in English from Jean Moulin University Lyon III.

I worked as an inhouse translator and team lead for an Ireland-based translation company for almost eight years, before starting my own freelance business in April 2019. I specialize in technical, marketing and literary content.

I assimilate the work of a translator to that of a writer - a translation should read as if it were directly produced in the target language.

This is how I would describe my work style

Translations are NEVER literal or calqued on the source.

Content is NEVER blindly translated (queries are sent, where applicable).

Deadlines are ALWAYS met once agreed upon.
