About Me

My biggest passion in the world is saving animals This is why I moved to the Dominican Republic to start my own dog rescue. Of course this the dogs and cats need medical care, food and housing so I am looking for an online job to provide for myself and safe more animals!
Maybe there are some animal lovers here that, despite my lack of experience as a translator, want to give me the opportunity to prove myself!

I have long history of speaking English in my daily life, I even think in English by now! Half my family is German so this is also no problem for me at all. I always had a big passion for reading and writing.

Before this adventure me and my mom set up the world biggest webshop with vintage vases. Where we did listings in English, German and Dutch. We did the vintage fairs and in those 7 years I spoke and wrote in these 3 languages all day long.

Before all of that I had multiple jobs from customer service to gas station employee.

I have a big love for reading and learning new languages. I am now learning Spanish and even speak a little Polish!

I hope you will let me prove myself that I can be the best translator in your team! :)

This is what motivates me to do my best work

What motivates me the most to get an online job is of course keep my animal rescue running and providing without holding my hand open to anyone.
As a kid I already wrote short stories and poems. I always wanted to be a translator or do something with my knowledge of languages. This would be the ultimate dream to run my rescue and make money with what I love to do!

This is how I solved a recent communication challenge with a client

When I worked as a customer service employee, I often had to deal with angry customers or customers with a problem regarding the product we offered. I found it a challenge to reassure these people and solve the problems. It gives me great satisfaction to make sure the costumer was happy at the end of our conversation,

When clients request literal translations, this is how I handle the situation

I will read the text multiple times and will translate it in a way in make sense and is well builded up without changing the content.

This is how I continue my learning in my area of expertise

I keep reading books in different languages and try to speak as much in the language that is necessary at that moment

This is how I would describe my work style

Committed! I will bite myself in a project and will only stop to eat, sleep, or take care of my animals.
