Audiovisual media

Subtitles are well made if your audience barely notices them. Badly done subtitles, however, are quickly discovered and cast a negative light on your whole production. Thanks to my experience in TV production, I have a good understanding of storytelling and post-production processes. This knowledge goes into my considerations when converting spoken and on-screen text into easy-to-read and understandable German subtitles.

As an economics translator, I understand the importance of clear and accurate translations in the world of business. Regardless of whether it is corporate communications, journalistic articles or other texts with an economics background - I transfer your English texts into common “business German”.

This is how I would describe my work style

As a former project manager, I put a lot of emphasis on two things: clear communication and a proper project plan.

I like to think each project through from the very beginning to ensure quality and delivery in a timely manner.

Clear communication means that nothing is left to the imagination - both parties should at any point of a project know what the scope is, when the project is due and how much it costs. If there are any changes to any one of these points, I like to be very transparent in order to find a solution together.

But what really motivates me most is feedback!
