Work with Jorel Antonio Espinoza Merino!

My name is Jorel Espinoza, and I am a translator and interpreter specializing in English-Spanish. I graduated from the University of Playa Ancha, Valparaíso, Chile in 2021. I have a passion for translation and a keen interest in various scientific fields such as physics, biology, and especially astronomy. I also enjoy working with texts related to psychology, music, and videogames. My goal is to work in one or more of these fields, aiming not only to provide high-quality translations but also to immerse myself in the subject matter to appear as an actual specialist.

During my time in college, I completed two major translation projects. The first one is titled “FIRST M87 EVENT HORIZON TELESCOPE RESULTS. I” and the second one is “FIRST M87 EVENT HORIZON TELESCOPE RESULTS. II.” These translations revolve around the groundbreaking scientific research conducted by the Event Horizon Telescope. Additionally, I have translated the poem “Ode to Neruda’s Hats in Isla Negra” from the collection of poems titled “Ode to the Dogs of Valparaiso and other texts” by Barbara Hamby, published in 2017.

I am passionate about my work and dedicated to delivering accurate and polished translations. I am eager to further develop my skills and contribute to the field of translation in these fascinating subjects.
