I have a degree in English studies. I spent some time interpreting in Dublin, then I started doing video game localization translating technical documents and international patents as a freelancer. Since then, I have come back to my initial field of study: literature. I have spent the last 8 years translating books, from sci-fi to historical romance.
Literary and creative translation
I translate literature in any form. I recently worked with New York Times bestselling author Brenda Hiatt to translate her complete catalogue from English to French. Please look me up on Amazon to read a preview of any of the books I translated!
I have experience in game localization. I have worked on some indie games on Steam and collaborated with Big Bad Wolf studio (Bordeaux) to localize video games and proofread both EN and FR versions of games.
I also translate legal documents. I regularly work with local law firm IPSIDE (Bordeaux) to translate international patents. I am used to the terminology and I always check with my contacts in the firm if I have any doubt on a freelance mission.
I can be your interpreter!
I have recently interpreted conferences on Zoom for a transformational coaching channel. The conference was in English and I was translating simultaneously for the French viewers.
As a writer in my native language, this is how I would describe my style
I have translated more than 20 novels and I can vouch for every word. Being faithful to the original document is always my priority. Language and rhythm are extremely important to me. You can read a preview of any book I translated by typing my name on Amazon; I can bring the same quality to your project!
