Technical and marketing translator, and qualified subtitler

I have a MA in Translation from UCLouvain (Professional Focus: translation & Audiovisual media) and and I have now been working as a full-time translator and subtitler for two years.
Since September 2022, I have added a new string to my bow as I teach two German language courses at the university (UCLouvain) as a guest lecturer: Specialised Translation Workshops (Economy) and Audiovisual Adaptation Workshops

Content I translate

Technical materials

I translated several parts of a user manual from German into French for a German car-whash company.
I translate and post-edit product descriptions and marketing texts for an international distributor of industrial and electronics products based in London.
I do post-editing and revision of user manuals for a leading global provider of on-road load handling equipment. In addition to manuals, I have also worked on marketing content and e-learning modules.

Marketing content

For almost two years now, I have been translating, post-editing, revising and QA-checking content for a Swiss telecommunications company. I have worked on internal documents, e-learning modules, slogans, advertisements, product descriptions…

Content I subtitle

In addition to the classic subtitling from an A language to a B language, I also do subtitling for the Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing.
The video content I have subtitled includes short films for the Brussels Short Film Festival, episodes of a talk show and a magic show for a Belgian TV channel, and product presentation videos.
