This is how I solved a recent terminology, style, or linguistic challenge

A client approached me to translate an 11,000 word employee manual from English into Spanish for his majority-Cuban workforce. I consulted federal and state government web sites to find the official names of departments and services they might request (e.g., Worker’s Compensation Insurance) so that the terminology they read in the employee manual is the same that they will encounter if they ever have to deal with these agencies in the future.
