I have more than 12 years of translation experience and hold a master’s degree in Applied Translation Studies from the University of Leeds in the UK.

Areas of specialisation

My main areas of specialisation are finance, business, and law, although I have worked in a wide variety of fields over the years, including international development, marketing, pharmaceuticals, and nuclear energy.

Alongside my translation career, I also work as a financial writer, allowing me to develop a sound understanding of finance, stocks, investing, and cryptocurrencies. This dual experience enables me to deliver high-quality, accurate translations that capture the nuances of financial content.

CAT Tools

In terms of CAT tools, my master’s degree put a strong focus on CAT tools, so I feel comfortable working with Trados Studio, Déjà Vu, Wordfast, and others. Professionally, I have mostly worked with Trados and Wordfast, in addition to agencies’ proprietary tools.
