About Me

An English Literature graduate seeking for more professional experiences. Translating materials from English to Indonesian and vice versa. Striving for grammar details, cultural contexts, readability, and accuracy to the original meaning in every process of his work. Competent in using SmartCAT and MemoQ. For ten months, he has worked on marketing translation (39 articles and a brochure), content translation (social media and blog posts), legal translation (certificates), medical translation (reports), Machine Translation Post Editing (ISAAC project), project localization (software and website) and subtitle localization (course and conference videos).

I always challenge myself which helps me better to provide translation that is nearer to the intended meaning. There are many ways to do this. I usually find articles with jargons to translate on CAT tools. Sometimes, I will try articles from the fields that I have learnt. Sometimes, I will try from another fields.
