Law and Video Games
When I became a translator, I decided I would only translate what I love most.
Legal translation feeds my natural inclination towards logic. It is a field that challenges me to think critically about the world we live in.
Video game translation is an outlet for my creativity. It allows me to voice fascinating and faceted characters, recount complex narratives, explore mysterious lore.
At times, I am commissioned a video game IP contract or a rule-heavy RPG. Magically, the two worlds collide.
My journey
I have been office and project manager for a national legal translation agency in Rome, I have traveled to Poland to gain insight as a video game localization tester, and as of today I have translated hundreds of legal documents for businesses, law firms and notaries and localized dozens of AAA and indie video games. I work from my office, surrounded by law books, polyhedric dice and tech.
Why choose me?
My legal services
I harness my comparative legal studies to accurately translate complex legal documentation from English to Italian. I also act as a second pair of eyes when it comes to identifying any critical issues related to compliance with Italian or EU law in your English documents.
My video games services
I author stunning Italian translations to captivate and engage players and perform thorough LQA testing to polish your game to perfection. I have played hundreds of games, read specialized articles, studied game mechanics: in other words, if something looks unclear or uncoherent in your lore, UI or rules, I will find it and point it out to you. In addition, I follow the gaming industry very closely and always keep updated on the legal news.
