Me and my services

I am a native English speaker and professional linguist offering translation and proofreading services from German, Spanish and Italian into English. My areas of specialism are medical/pharmaceutical, travel & tourism, and marketing & advertising. I hold a first class degree in German and Spanish Linguistic Studies and am a member of the CIOL and ITI.

Background

I graduated with a first in German and Spanish Linguistic Studies from the University of Southampton and worked as a Translation Project Manager at a UK-based translation agency for more than three years. I have lived in both Spain and Germany and have volunteered my translation skills for various organisations, including Translators Without Borders, The Starfish Foundation and Respond Crisis Translation. I have been a regular contributor to Watching America, translating opinion pieces about the USA into English.
