I am a scientific and technical translator specialized in chemistry, biology, and environmental science.
I also have experience in fashion, IT, and marketing.
I am a fast learner and a flexible person. I volunteer for Coursera.org subtitling educational materials.
I recently volunteered for the Terminology Coordination Unit of the European Parliament working on the FOOD and MARE YourTerm Projects.

My professional methodology for a standard translation project is

The first step is having an in-depth talk with the client to better understand what he wants and what he requires about the final product.
I will then research the best tools for the project and proceed with a first translation.
This will be presented to the client to provide explanations about the choices made and possible changes.
The product will than be edited and delivered to the client for final approval.
